Merchandise
While compiling this list of merchandise based on the movie I tried to be as accurate as possible. Unfortunately, since I don't have most of this stuff, I have had to rely on various information found on the web. Hopefully I got it right. Also, on-line auctions are mentioned throughout this page as a source of obtaining discontinued or promotional material. I'm sure there are a ton of other resources but these were mentioned because I was able to find the merchandize at them one time or another. Use whatever works for you. Happy llamaing!
Music
The
soundtrack from the movie. It contains 12 tracks some not heard in the film.
The Lyrics are by Sting and Music is by him and David Hartley. Musical scores by
John Debney. Songs sung by Sting, Shawn Colvin, Tom Jones, Eartha Kitt and
Rascal Flatts. Some of the songs (check out the lyrics on StingChronicity)
include Perfect World,
My Funny Friend and Me,
Snuff Out The Light,
Walk The Llama Llama
and One Day She'll Love
Me. A nice blend of both music and songs. It has a nice 1940's swing
band feel to it. I really liked it. Available on both CD and cassette. Runs
between $12 and $16. Included is a booklet with lyrics of the songs and some pictures
from the movie. There is also a Brazilian packaging. Released by Walt
Disney Records. Check out the official
album site which includes sample audio bytes from the soundtrack and more.

Celebrating Walt Disney's 100th birthday
The Disney Store offered an
exclusive new assortment of 100 collectible pins, one of which was based on the
movie. This pre-production proof plate was used in the
development of the collector's pin designed by Fotoball exclusively for The Disney
Store. The proof plate lends a unique look into the approval
process for the creation of collector's pins. Proofs are used internally to verify size correctness and color accuracy for
each pin they produce. The proof plate contains a legend of each of the pin's paint
colors, which are then matched to the Pantone color matching system. This proof
plate is signed by the Fotoball Quality Assurance team member who approved its
advancement to the next stage of production. They are 3" x 3.25" and made of metal.
A Certificate of Authenticity are included.

Software
This
is an activity styled program. You can do lots of neat things here like help
Pacha grow crops and save Kuzco from falling into a river of crocodiles. But the
coolest thing is Kronk's Loomation. You can create multimedia tapestries which
you can print out or e-mail your creations to a friend (I haven't tried this yet) Plus the
other neat thing is with your points in the games can be used to go on-line and buy
more items for your loom (haven't tried this either) The games are cool too
because there are multi-levels of difficulty. The program is design for ages 4-8
but I still had fun. You'll
need Windows 95/98 or Macintosh OS 8.5 thru 9.x. It goes for about $20. Released
by Disney Interactive.
Check out more details on the Disney
Store site.
An
arcade
styled game where you play Kuzco as you try and get back to your palace so you
can be changed back into human form. Pacha is here too to help you out along
with Chaca and Tipo. All the while Yzma, Kronk and her guards will dog your
progress. But you'll also have to watch out for killer spiders, jaguars and
alligators. You can jump, kick, roll and charge to dispatch them. If you can
find all the secrets and collect all the coins on each level you will be able to
view a production drawing. Plus on some levels you can find potions and turn
into other animals other than a llama like turtles and frogs. Most of the scenes
from the movie are here including a lot of cut scenes from the actual film. The
game is design for ages 8 and up but I had a blast playing it. Kuzco talks to
the characters with the same humor and zaniness as the movie. What I really like
about the game is game play is not the same through out and from
different points of view. For example, when being chased by the Jaguars to have
to tap the keys to move your feet and steer. It is a great game! The
detail in the game is awesome too! There are things and characters (some that
were in early drafts but never made it) that have been extended in the game.
Also if you are stumped check out my walkthrus.
There are two known versions: PC ($20) and Playstation ($39), I have both. You'll need Windows 95/98 for PC.
Check out
the official
action game site for PC, or sites on Amazon
for the Playstation
version. Each can give you more details. They are all released by Disney Interactive.
There is
a Gameboy Color ($29) game. The object is to collect hearts (health), coins
(lives), Spit Drops (for spitting) and jugs (mystery items) You can also duck,
spit, jump, head butt and even charge. The object is to get Kuzco (you) through
seven levels, back to the palace and back to a human again befor Yzma and her
hordes (Guards, rats, monkeys, piranhas, scorpions, spiders, bats and more) get
you. I don't have Gameboy Color (yet) but I have the game so I got this all from
the manual. This is produced by UBI Soft. Check out sites on Amazon
for Gameboy
Color, the official
game site or a review of
the game.
Also there is an on-line matching game on the Disney Interactive site, a Squirrel Translator, Kronk's Kitchen, Squirrel Messenger and Rescue Kuzco on the Official site.

My
understanding is that this is the press kit that was sent out to the media to
promote the film. This is chocked with a bunch of goodies! Carrying
pouch, photos, books, slides, production notes, the works! Since these were never offered to the

Toys
These
are suppose to be mini beanbag figures but they are more like plush toys (can
hardly feel the beans and they don't rattle much) They are nice and soft too.
They are a decent size of
Kuzco (in llama form) and Pacha. They go for around $14 for the pair. Check them out on the Disney
Store site.
McDonalds
had six different types of action toys tied into the movie you could buy at one time.
The promotion is over but you might be able to find these on EBay.
Supposedly there is another set of McDonalds toys (not sure if this was released
in a different country) Kronk is hold a drink, his arms are bendable so you can
bring it up to his mouth. Pacha is pulling Kuzco in his cart, from the picture
it looks like his head may bob. Bucky has a llama balloon which lights up when
you press his nose. I found these on

Disney
offered a free set of lithographs if you preordered the video tape or DVD from
the Disney Store (which I
did) There were four of them, 14" x 11, that came in a decorated folder.
The offer has since expired.
This
is a cast litho the was available by Disney. It is my understanding there were
only 1500 made, each were signed and came with authentication. These were all
sold out so the only place you can probably get them is at an auction like
Amazon or EBay.
Also check the Disney Store from time to time as they are always coming out with something new.
